“To Love a Fool,” the long-anticipated album from Worship leader Cory Asbury, available for download on all digital stores.
Produced by Paul Mabury, the new album serves as his second full-length set following his 2018’s “Reckless Love” which hit the top of the charts as Billboard’s #1 Christian Album and won a GMA Dove Award for Worship Album of the Year 2018.
Reacting to his positive reception from fans following the release, Asbury took to social media to express his joy, initial doubt, and pen a thank you message. see below;
“Just wanted to hop on this morning and say thank you all so much for your kind words regarding To Love a Fool. Means a ton. For real”
“Full disclosure — I was bumming super hard a few days before its release. I was worried people wouldn’t get it. That it’d be seen as too personal, too vulnerable, too honest… too much. But your messages and stories and posts have been incredibly encouraging to my heart. I am strengthened in this — art is still alive in the church. And it’s our acknowledgment and appreciation of its beauty that gives it life. So much love.”
After taking a year off to rest with his family in 2019, Cory resurfaced on the music scene earlier this year with “The Father’s House,” off the album which has held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Christian AC Monitored chart for nine consecutive weeks. This was followed up by other single releases leading up to the full project release available today.
